August means it's graduation

So, we may not have our degrees, but we do have the recognition that we've completed over 2/3 of our degree. We officially finish our program in December when our final two courses will be completed online. Because so many of us will be living on the field in December, our graduation was recognized a few days ago.
It's been a mix of emotions.

I'm super excited for what is next: living and working on the West Bank. Discovering an entirely new region of the world. Practically "doing" development work - getting broken and beaten, challenged and sharpened and enriched by the experiences the Lord leads me to. I have no idea what to expect.

On the other hand, I am very sad to leave my friends. Or, for my friends to leave me. I have been living at home during the entire program, a couple blocks away from where most people from my program live. My life has basically revolved around these wonderful people.

Two more days of classes and we're OUT!!My familyMost of the MA crew (a sampling of where most of us are going: Pakistan, Guatemala, India, Kenya, the Philippines, Jerusalem and the West Bank, Nicaragua, and Serbia)
